This is a more mobile spec than the single-target one, as our main soul shard spender is going to be Rain of Fire which is an instant-cast spell. This will proc Avatar of Destruction more often, meaning more shards and more damage and so on and so on. This is a very AoE-heavy build where the objective is to generate and spend as many soul shards as you can.
Its value decreases massively if mobs are moved a lot, and thus moves out of Rain of Fire. This setup deals very steady damage on multiple targets. This setup should suffice in all types of cleave raid combat. There's not really anything we can do about this though, other than play well with what resources we have. The downside of this build is the lack of mobility. We get strong on-demand burst with our Summon Infernal cooldown, while being very tanky. This talent setup revolves around dealing single target damage while being able to change around very few things to then deal some good cleave or aoe damage as well. The rest of the talent points you can play around with mostly add utility or cc.
These are the main talents that make you tankier or increase your damage. When it comes to the warlock class tree, there's some wiggle room for you to move around a few talent points if you feel like it, but there are a few talent points that you should pick up: Fel Domination, Burning Rush, Demonic Embrace, Demonic Inspiration, Wrathful Minion, Demonic Fortitude, Demonic Gateway, Grimoire of Synergy, Soul Conduit, Soulburn, Fel Synergy and Soul Link. If you're not, then you should use the season 1 talent setups. Note: These builds assume you're wearing the 4-piece from season 2.
